Ow me gawsh.

I just read the last few posts you guys have done on here (I am referring to Kim and Alex here, as I assume those are the only people who even know this stupid page exists) and they are like SO dramatic. I hate to admit it, (but not enough to not say it, of course,) that I was seriously cracking up. You guys really get into this whole blogging thing, eh? Maybe I'm just a freak, but I usually like recording my various deep innermost thoughts, emotions and opinions in a more private place, such as a diary. But you know. Whatever floats your boat!!

And, as I have noticed as a reoccurring theme in each of your blogs, how everything is changing and all that, I don't get it! What's changing? Who's changing? As far as I can tell, everyone is exactly the same as they've always been. But maybe I'm changing at the same rate everyone else it so we don't notice it and you guys are the only ones not changing. I wouldn't know.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN;
-I've been sleeping, eating, doing homework, eating, running, eating, and sleeping non stop for the past four months.
-Cross country ends in two weeks (I'm the worst in varsity, best in junior varsity. Ugh. What a terrible place.)
-I secretly really want to spend like a month in complete independent solitude and like meditate or something. Is that weird?
-I just realized I am not doing, as of now, anymore sports this year, so anyone interested in doing kickboxing with me CALL ME RIGHT NOW. Actually don't, I'm going to bed right now.
-Luke and I could probably be considered friends at this point. I doubt anyone actually cares but it's kind of a big deal to me on account of this is the most boy-interaction I've had, um, ever.
-My birthday is next Wednesday and, since I am what one might consider a hermit, I am not as of now having any sort of party or gathering. WHICH REALLY SUCKS BECAUSE I WANNA PARTY. I'll get over it.
-Ew. I'm going to be 16 next Wednesday. That's gross. I still feel like I'm twelve.
-*GASP* Now I can sing "I am Sixteen, Going on Seventeen" every day for a whole year because it's true!!
-Guys. Prescott is NOT that bad. Really. There are a lot worse places to be. Someday you will be living in a cardboard box in a sweltering, toxin-ridden metropolis, and you will think solemnly to yourself; "Boy, I remember the days where I lived in nice, clean, hippie/druggy/cowboy Prescott, Arizona, where there are real trees and several nice ice cream shops." And then you will shed a tear, which will instantly vaporize on your cracked gray visage, leaving only a dry salty residue upon your cheek as a manifestation of your deep misery. (I've been spending too much time in English class; it makes me think I can pull of big words.)
-I love movies! I should watch them more often.
-I wish I had a passion in my life so I could do something productive in my spare time. I mean I like drawing I guess, but I always think it sucks so it's not even enjoyable. I need a hobby. Liiikkkeee....I've got nothing.

Whoa. It's ten thirty. What the crap am I doing right now?
Maybe i should stop drinking caffeinated tea before bed. I dunno.

8.24.2009

Breakfast.

I just ate an egg for breakfast and it tasted questionable and now my stomach is starting to hurt. Maybe I'll puke and not have to go to school today.

8.23.2009

What the crap.

No one tells me anything. It seems like this is ALWAYS happening; I'll be talking with a couple people and one of them will start saying something and then stop abruptly and then they'll look at each other really fast and the other one will raise their eyebrows suggestively and then start on a totally random topic. And I'm like "HELLLOO. I SAW the suggestive eyebrows!! You can't leave me hanging like that!"
*****************************************
And also my parents ARE DRIVING ME INSANE. I swear. Why couldn't I have been born into a family of twenty children so I could spend like ten minutes of my day without my parents? It is so ridiculous. I should've counted the number of times my mom asked me if I had any homework today. Or how many times dad told me to go to bed. Or how many times mom asked me if I knew how to fix the computer. Or how many times my dad asked me if I was doing my homework. They don't think I can accomplish ANYTHING on my own, so they have to remind me about every little thing I need to do. I bet this is why people always say teenagers become really reserved or rude around their parents. They don't tell their parents about anything so their parents don't bug them about it! And after badgering me until I literally am screaming into my pillow from going insane, they will get all sentimental and pull the guilt trip. Like today when mom enthusiastically stated, "So Sami! Want to go to Anthem next weekend after we dye our hair for a shopping spree?"
"Um, sure, but remember Ashley will be over that day?"
"Oh. .. well I-I, kinda wanted it to be a...a little mother daughter, bonding. Bu, but it's fine. May-maybe another time." All dramatically and she sighs and walks into her room. I mean, I'm sure she's all sad her daughters are all grown up and her only one left is a major disappointment to the family (I mean gosh, I haven't been to ANY school dances, much less the prom, I haven't had a boy friend, or any boy-related anything, I have been to a total of two parties and I rarely do anything with my friends) but GIVE ME SOME SPACE MOM. But I can never say stuff like that because A.) it always ends up sounding jerky, and B.) mom gets super depressed for the rest of the week and dad gets all huffy about it and mad.
*****************************************
All I really want to do is move to Iowa and be an apprentice on a farm with hot midwest boys and stay there all next summer. That'd be so awesome. A two month break from my parents. Unfortunately, I don't think an apprenticeship exists for sixteen year old girls at a farm. Not that my parents would let me go anyway. What I need to do is find a camp. An all summer camp. That isn't in Arizona. Or anywhere near it.
*****************************************
And also I am realizing lately that I am a total idiot; I should've been getting terrible grades from elementary school and middle school so that I could actually get something lower than an A in high school without my parents having a cardiac arrest. But now I've set my standard too high and I have to be all As the rest of my freaking life. Uuughh.
*****************************************
On a less dramatic-suffering-misunderstood-teenager note, I bought cool sneaks! I feel like people will make fun of me for one of the pairs, but I like them so whatever.
*****************************************
PS. I decided I want to live on a small farm someday with cows and chickens and vegetables and fruit trees and lots of grass and a blueberry patch and a nearby river and a super cute farmhouse mixed with that house from The Secret Garden. Except that sounds very expensive. So I suppose I'll have to win the lottery prior to that.
*****************************************
Fun fact: I killed a total of three small moths on my computer screen whilst I've been typing this ridiculously long rant.

8.16.2009

Alas;

the second week of school starts tomorrow. Yaaaaay.
WHY DOES NOTHING INTERESTING EVER HAPPEN TO MEEE?!?!?

(As God strikes me with some freak lightning or implants some rare and fatal virus into my blood stream.
"THAT INTERESTING ENOUGH FOR YOU, SAMI?!")

8.11.2009

Uuuh, lists?

I apparently missed the memo we were putting numbered lists together of our first day as Sophmores, so I guess I'll do it for the second day because I AM AN INDIVIDUAL.

1. Woke up at 5:30 AM strangely awake and cheerful.
2. Get ready...blahblahblah boring.
3. Driving to school: "Dad, Demerse is closed off, remember? We have to go over by the hospital."
"No, no, sweetie. They finished that road weeks ago."
And then we drove on the twenty minute detour and it was rather hard for me not to say "I TOLD YOUUU!!!"
4. Finally get to school, only to be immediately absorbed into the illegally full hallways.
5. After awkwardly hugging like four people I really wish wouldn't hug me, and after almost nine fake-smiles at people who say hi to me, I get into Spanish. I feel like everyone in my class is fluent in the language, and so the teacher assumes everyone is at that level and I have no idea what anyone is saying. Why couldn't I have been born in Mexico?
6. Class class class class.
7. At lunch I was talking to Alex and asked her something and she was just staring at me all dazed and I was like "Alex. ALEEXX." And she was like "Oh, sorry, it's just you have this angelic glow and it's distracting me." Uumm, I don't know whether I should be flattered or if I should file a restraining order, Alex.
8. Class with my darling at the opposite end of the room.
9. I made friends with Javier today. I think we will become...um, hold on a sec...'amigos'. If you know what I mean.
10. Made some friends in the bathroom. I realized I had to pee all day after 7th period, so I basically power walked my butt off to the nearest John, only to find my '8th period' (if you catch my drift.) So I was like "HEY, ANYONE HAVE TAMPONS?" Silence. -siiiiigh- I poke my head out the door, "HEY, D--" And then like five girls who were standing there whipped out varies brands and sizes of tampons and pads and started telling period jokes and laughing and saying saying stuff like "Holy crap, I swear that happens to me all the time!" I walked out of the bathroom laughing and waving and saying "See you later guys," into the bathroom while I walked into the hallway and I got some weird looks.
11. Kim. I am afraid we have some competition this year. There is this sweet freshman girl named Shay who ALMOST kicked my butt in the run today (but I beat her up Ruth St. bwuhahaha)(except she didn't know we were stopping at the top so whilst she saved her energy I sprinted like a crazy woman)(um, but I still beat her.) So um, get your physical fast so you can train more so she isn't significantly better because it's embarrassing.
12. Went to mall to pick up new phone because my dear old one finally up and died. We spent literally one and a half hours standing in that dang store with this guy named Greg who was very nice but a little too talkative. Mom and I wanted to shoot someone since we had been in there so long, and all he wanted to do is talk about how his dad went crazy last year and thought the world was going to end so he spent every last penny to his name building an underground shelter but then the world didn't, in fact, end. And how he is planning on moving to Alaska to live on a boat for the rest of his life catching salmon with his girlfriend. Um. Anyway, I have a new phone now that, while it IS in fact fancy, is not as cool as my old one.
13. Went home and worked on my spanish accent and picked my spanish name: Irene (pronounced 'ee-RAIN-ay' very passionately and with a dramatically rolled 'r'.)
14. Sang songs from Brittany Reed's Arthur CD loudly until mom came in and gave me a meaningful look.
15. Suddenly realized Alex's present wasn't done and feverishly worked on it.
16. Sighed and blogged for some reason.

8.09.2009

PSA

I, Samantha, am prepared to give twenty dollars to the first person to come to my house and help me unpack all 5 suitcases (I am so dead serious) of clothes from Flagstaff.

No takers? No one?

-sob-

----------------------------------------------

Well anyways, school starts tomorrow, cross country starts tomorrow, my room is a disaster, I am on chapter fifteen of Huckleberry Waste My Life Finn, I missed the big church thing, my abs hurt like nobody's business and I don't even know what my schedule is for tomorrow.

Siiiiggggghh.

8.06.2009

Kim. ALex. Teen Titans. Duck Tales.

Kim, if you ever show that video to any living soul besides Katy, I will have the authority to personally kill you with my bare hands.

And I'm going on a shopping spree in Flagstaff with eight hundred dollars, so I won't be checking this website, but I WILL KNOW IF YOU POST IT KIM. I have my sources.

Speaking of which, YAY!! I'm going on a four day shopping spree in Flagstaff!!

ALEX; Haha, when I saw your picture on your blog I seriously thought you just bleached your hair and left it. I almost had a  cardiac arrest, but then I saw the purple and everything was OK. (Which sounds weird.) I will never understand why you didn't just self-dye it purple like normal people, but whatever. Can't wait to see you at school on MONDAY ALREADY!! Whoot whoot.

Speaking of school on MOnday, HOLY CRAP THERE'S SCHOOL ON MONDAY. This really bites because I have been on chapter fifteen of Huckleberry Finn since the beginning of summer, and I have a strange feeling I won't get it done in Flag. Hmmm...

Oh! Speaking of Teen Titans, I TOTALLY WATCHED THAT TOO!!! It was so awesome, but I restrained from watching all the ones I had already memorized so I could get SOMETHING productive done yesterday.  Sure, the dialogue is a little cheesy, and Starfire is a total idiot, and who is Cyborg supposed to fall in love with? but I still love that show for some reason. And that theme song seriously rocks, and I literally looked up the band who sings it online; HiHi Puffy Ami-Yumi. Didn't they used to have a stupid cartoon that lasted like a week? My favorite episode from yesterday was the puppet one where Starfire and Raven switched places. That was so awesome.

Speaking of cartoons from my childhood, did you guys ever watch Duck Tales? It was so awesome. And the only reason I remember it is because Darren Criss sang it and in came a rushing of childhood flashbacks.

Speaking of Harry Potter and Youtube videos, that girl who sings 'Accio Hot Guy' (Lena) sang 'Granger Danger' and posted it and she got an ugly dye job but it was pretty sweet (the song was, not the dye job.) I believe it's titled, 'Will This Damn Song Get Out of My Head?'

Well, I'm sure you all could read my beuatiful meoldic writing style all day, but I should probably go off to Flagstaff now and blow off all the money I earned this summer, since I failed to do so at Forever 21 that one time. Siiigh.

KIM. I'm watching you.

7.30.2009

Last one, I swear.

Sorry for the three separate posts, but I just found this video and it is THE FUNNIEST thing I've ever seen in my life.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70ABKwflFZ0

(I'm too dumb to put the actual video up here.)

samantha austin; 17 questions

Haha, compare Tom to Rupert Grint, Kim.

http://www.seventeen.com/dating/17-questions/rupert-grint-17q

The only personality he shows is when he is talking about upgrades for his ice cream truck. Haha, what a freak. But I love him.

------------------------------------------

I'm going to answer all those questions now since I have nothing better to do, and I will pretend I am a main character in the Harry Potter films and I'm 18. Kindly imagine all my answers  being spoken in a sweet, British voice.

-----------------------------------------

samantha austin

This super cute Harry Potter star answers our 17 questions!

When was your first kiss?
Oh dear, don't make fun of me! I was 16! (Well I'm assuming I'll have kissed SOMEONE by then, for goodness sakes. I'm such a freak.)  I never even had a cute little kid kiss.

Who's your celebrity crush?
Hm. I would have to say Ashton Kutcher. Absolutely Ashton Kutcher...I think its his tall, scruffy yet clean look. Or something.

What's the boy fashion trend that confuses you?
V-necks. I really hate those. Especially if you have chest hair.

What's the boyish movie you secretly love?
Well, the only 'boyish' movies I can think of are like old war/cowboy movies. And I don't like those.

What's your TV guilty pleasure?
America's Next Top Model. That show is hysterical! *cute british lady-like giggle*

Who would play you in the movie version of your life?
Rez from Americanapparel.com. Even if she is a terrible actress.

What's your dream job?
Model. I mean, all you have to do is stand there and get paid. How awesome is that?!

If you could trade places with anyone in the world for one day, who would it be?
I would really love to be a boy for a day. Any boy at all. I don't know why.

Who in your family are you closest to?
I would say my mom, but I'm pretty close with everyone.

What's your favorite Website?
Probably youtube.com. I can literally spend hours on there, it is such a time sucker.

What's the fast food you can't live without?
I don't know if this counts, but I really like smoothies you can just pick up and go. Other than that, I'd have to say cheese balls. Except I obviously can live without them since I haven't had them since I last went to South Dakota, so I can live without fast food period, I guess.

What's your worst habit?
Making lists. It seems harmless, but I am literally CONSTANTLY making lists, even when I'm not writing them, I am mentally making lists. I don't think it's normal. That and correcting people's grammar. Some people get offended when I tell them they can't speak English properly.

What's the last song you listened to on your iPod?
Hmm, I think it was' Icky Thump' by the White Stripes yesterday when I was running. I wish I could understand what that guy is saying in that song...

What's the last thing you bought?
I bought a smoothie for my friend and me a few days ago. I really don't spend money that often.

What did you dream about last night?
I dreamed I went to Luke's house, but when I tried talking to him he hid under his bed, so I went and talked with his dad about the army and an enchanted golden goblet that he thought we should go find. And then I woke up.

How much money is in your wallet right now?
Sixty-seven cents and a debit card.

Fill in the blank: When I was 17, I was ____________.
A super sexy dork.

SQUEEEE!!!

HE LOVES HIS MOM AND HIS DOG AND ISN'T A BIG SPENDER AND ENJOYS CLASSICAL MUSIC AND HE DOESN'T LIKE PHONES/TEXTING AND HE LOOKED SUPA HOT PLAYING SOCCER AND HE PLAYS GUITAR AND SINGS.

We're basically married.

(But Megan Fox?! REALLY Tommy? Oh well. I guess guys just can't handle huge bouncing boobs and fat lips. I forgive you my darling.)

Kim; how shall we murder his girlfriend?

7.23.2009

Wyt Gurlz Wrap it Rite.

This is the best white girl rap you'll ever see.

Kim and I shouldn't be allowed to spend time with each other. There is actually a plethora of embarrassing videos that are worse than this that I could not bring myself to upload in fear of Kim breaking into my house and killing me.

-----

On a more boring note, I worked today. Story of my life.
Let's see, OH! But tomorrow I get to go to TUSCON to see my lovely grandmother. And perhaps go to the sacred place we humans like to call Forever 21. And perhaps buy everything in their inventory that has a floral print on it. And perhaps blow off all seven-hundred dollars I have earned this summer.

Sounds exciting.

----

On an even more boring note, I am, once again, finding myself wasting my life on the computer. It is really quite sad how humans are so dependent on technology.

7.14.2009

Excuse me;

but I would just like to rub it in anyone's face who cares that I AM GOING TO THE HARRY POTTER PREMIERE IN HALF AN HOUR.
Yesssssss.

7.13.2009

YES.

I am going to Hot Topic RIGHT now to pick up my Harry Potter t-shirt!! And I am accepting in advance any ridiculous price on it! And I will bet someone money that there are only obscurely large sizes left since I'm getting it so last second but I DON'T CARE BECAUSE I'M SEEING HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE. And I haven't even read the whole book yet!! I am at the part where I know the rest is really serious and sad and I keep putting it off because I always cry at the end. BUT I SHALL PERSEVERE.

Oh. And Kim. I find it positively hilarious you have a secret blog no one can see where you can spill your guts. You know, most people who feel inclined to do that use this wonderful thing called a diary. And also I wish you would stop complaining about BOAT rides and HOT BOYS in Hawaii because I for one have been trapped  inside an insurance office all summer. (OK, two weeks, but still.)

There is a spider on my wall.

--3o minutes later--

I got a Gryffindor t shirt and it rooooccckkss.s.

OH and Ps. I GOT A CAMERA!!! Sure, its nothing fancy, (it has actually been passed down three times to my knowledge) but it does not require film nor flash charging!! Perhaps I will take beautiful pictures at the premiere. We're actually going two hours early, because we didn't order our tickets in advance (I may cry if they run out) so I don't know what the crap I'm going to do with Ashley and her sisters for 120 minutes...BUT WHO CARES?! I am so pumped.
(Wow. I should get out more.)

Well I guess that's it. I would just like to state that tomorrow's work day will last FOREVER.

(Sorry for all the caps in here; how horribly annoying.)

7.08.2009

Well. That changes things.

I decided jobs are kinda cool after all. I just got $133 for working two days. Oh. My. Gosh.

Today I finally amped up my run--I did about 35 minutes pretty hard, and I feel so great. I kind of just realized that by running only 20 minutes every day, I was really not getting any better. Must...not...suck...AT CROSS COUNTRY THIS YEAR!! AAAHHH!!! *obsessobsessobsess*
Anywho, while running today, I saw a total of THREE highly attractive boys! Holy crap! We have people living in this neighborhood who are under the age of 20!! And they're alarmingly beautiful!! Too bad I was a disgusting sweaty mess that was hyperventilating; I could've used my girlish charm on them. (Oh, wait a sec, I have no girlish charm. Crap.)

So I apparently screwed stuff up at the office today, daddy was mad because I (accidentally!!) let one of the workers go home two hours early because I, for some reason, didn't print off his whole assignment. Well. I am over it. But dad isn't because he is tired and irritable all the time anyway, so this may stay on his mind for a while. Other than that, I answered the phone a total of thirteen times (in NINE HOURS) and read a few chapters of Harry Potter. (I'm trying to read it slower than I'd like to because I'm trying to make it last right up to the premiere.)

Last night I had a dream Ashley and I went to the bowling alley. It was really bus though, and we were like, what the crap is this? When did bowling become so popular? And then we looked over at the shoe rental stand and saw someone had built a stage on top of it and the Jonis brothers were signing autographs. When they saw us, the little one came down and kissed Ashley and they fell in love and eloped right there on the spot to Kentucky and I was left alone at the bowling alley with millions of screaming girls and two Jonis brothers.

IT IS TOTALLY A SIGN.

7.06.2009

Working.

I suggest to anyone who is reading this to NEVER GET TRAPPED INTO THINKING HAVING A JOB IS A GOOD IDEA.
BIggest waste of my life. Ever. You get paid eight dollars an hour to do NOTHING. Which seems cool at first, but then after NINE HOURS you wish you were dead.
Well. I guess that's all I got.

7.02.2009

First morning in el new apartmentento!

I am so incredibly genuinely happy right now!!
1. I woke up in a new place. That gets me every time. Even at sleepovers. It's just exciting to me.
2. I just ate ONE pancake. I am very proud of myself because when I eat pancakes, I usually end up eating like twelve. But I wasn't very hungry this morning, and I succeeded in my pancake control! I don't know why I'm putting this on here, I highly doubt anyone cares about my pancake control situations.
3. I am jamming out to music! Except I kind of just realized I can no longer sing at the top of my lungs anymore because our neighbors might start vacuuming at midnight to get me back or something.
4. My dad is not here!! This sounds really mean, but I swear it's not. HE DRIVES ME CRAZY. Like one second he's be prancing around the house and patting me on the arm thanking me for all my help, and then something ridiculously minuscule happens and his face gets all red and he sits down and taps his foot and looks furious and lashes out if anyone says anything o him. He can be a real downer sometimes. And it's really hard for me to not let him affect my mood, but I just try to be extra happy to my mom and glare at him at any chance I get to disapprove of his behaviour. Um. But anyway, as you can see, it is just much easier to not deal with him at all, since you can get serious whiplash from his moods.
5. I am imagining myself swimming at our pool!!! But I currently do not know where anything is, much less my swimsuits, so we'll just have to put that bit off until I find to motivation to start unpacking.

Well. I'm off to play Tetris and wait for the motivation to come to me, I think.

7.01.2009

Hooray!

We are now officially moved in!!  It's kinda disappointing that my room is completely identical to my old one, but there is no other way the furniture can be arranged so everything fits. Which gives you an idea of how small our apartment is (or how much crap we have, depending on your view point.)

Well I'd love to type more but this thunder is SERIOUSLY freaking me out, because a few moments ago we had a power outage and I have apparently spending too much time reading Harry Potter because I immediately thought the dementors had finally come for me and I actually felt all the happiness draining from me. It was rather traumatic. So anyway. I'll be expecting all my housewarming gifts any day from you guys within the next few days!!

PS. Just kidding about the housewarming gifts. You guys can send them whenever, really.

HA!

I have successfully re-connected my internet on the computer in the apartment! YES.
Sadly, everyone has gone off to do productive things, and I know I should be doing something like unpacking, but instead I am listening to an old P!nk CD I found and blogging. I wanna go to the pool.

Um. Yeah that's all.

6.30.2009

Curses you reoccuring dreams.

I hate it when they are completely realistic and it takes you a few moments in the morning to realize it was a dream.

So. We're kind of moving tomorrow. And I kind of have to thoroughly clean everything as well as finally pack up my room as we need to be completely gone from our house tomorrow. uuurrggg.
I dislike cleaning.
Which is the primary reason why I haven't cleaned my shower in four years (as in never). Boy. That'll be fun today.

So I was reading that Seventeen with Katy Perry and I found it to be very annoying. Like one page it'll be "How to Look Skinny and Tall" and "How to Wear Makeup So You Can Attract Guys" and then the next page will be "Be Comfortable with Yourself" and "Be Proud of Who You Are" And I'm just a wee bit confused. AND HOLY CRAP DID ANYONE READ THAT FLIRTING ARTICLE?! It was hysterical.
6. Master the bump-and-flatter. Run into a cute guy at a crowded party. Say, "Oh, sorry-I become a total klutz around cute guys." The introduce yourself!
22. Pass him a handwritten note at a party that says "Just saying hi!" Slip it into his pocket.
35. Shirt-flirt!
"I have a shirt that says 'Kiss Me' and the 'i's are dotted with Hersey's Kisses. Every guy I flirt with says something about it. I've actually gotten a few kisses!"

Oh my goodness. These people have got to be kidding. Which, maybe all flirting girls do this kind of thing, I wouldn't know on the account of I don't flirt.  Or at least I don't think I do.
PLEASE. If anyone ever catches me doing  any of those ridiculous flirts in Seventeen, call me on it and kick me in the shins.

The only part of this magazine I liked this month was the dress combinations in the back and Katy Perry's interview. I didn't even like the workout/food part, and that's usually the best! What a waste of three dollars. Oh well.

So this morning when my alarm went off to run, I apparently turned off the whole clock rather than pressing the snooze button. Dang. Oh, Kim-- are you doing any strength training? I've just been doing weights and abs but I'm getting super bored of my routine.

Well. Now that I've wasted some time I guess I ought to go do something productive.
IT IS SO DANG HOT IN HERE. And my mom doesn't believe in AC. -sob-

6.29.2009

Oh yeah--

and Kim, I can do our low ceiling jumping exercise (we should find a catcher name than that) at the apartment!

Packing, Lacking, Slacking.

Boxes, Enjoyment, Off.
Lately little things people do just BUG me. Like this morning my mom tapes a to-do list for me on my bathroom mirror (which says something about me) and on the bottom it says "work hard Lucy, I know you can do it!" ARG. Like I'm five and need the encouraging words from my mom to make it through the day. And sometimes someone will just do a simple action or make a comment on something and I'm just furious. Maybe I'm menopausal.

ALEX; I have a big article from the paper on Daniel Radcliffe and in the pictures he looks less creepy than usual. I shall send it to you.

KIM; So...are you gonna tell us what you hallucinated or would you rather be dramatically mysterious? You do realize I'm hanging on your every word since the only other option is packing, right?

So I'm having my first back yard barbeque this 4th of July! Well, it's not really my backyard, as I won't have one now, but it's a big grassy yard with a grill and tables! I tried to convince my mom there will probably be other people using the community grill on the most popular date in the year to have a barbeque, but she apparently didn't think so.  I suggested writing "Reserved for Austin family" on a piece of paper and taping it on the grill early on the fourth, but she just sighed at me and walked away.

Soooo...yeah. Packing. Right.

6.25.2009

Hm.

So I passed my driving test today. Which is amazing, an the account of I almost got Mr. Andrist and me killed yesterday. Luckily, as you may not be aware of, there is a handy second set of brakes on the passenger side of driver's ed cars! That was the first time I have even gotten flipped off (well, in a car that is) but it was OK because Mr. Andrist gave her two birds back. Um. Anyways.

OMG SPEAKING OF MR. ANDRIST. Today while I was (grandma-slowly) driving down the road, Mr. Andrist was talking about how deaths always happen in threes.
"Yeah, Ed McMahon and Farrah just died, I wonder who'll be next" were his EXACT words this morning. Then, like an hour later mom told me MJ died! HOLY CRAP. I have been majorly freaked out by my potential-history teacher since. But it's kind of sad though when one guy dies and it's on the news for weeks, and then twenty people die in a train wreck and it's on for two minutes.

Oh. Today I ran in the rain and I must admit, I felt HOT. Ha. I'm dead serious though, I was just feeling all hard core (despite the fact I was having some problems going up the hills involving my respiratory system) with my pony tail swinging and my skin all glistening with rain and sweat and that runner's glow, and I felt all athletic. Is was pretty awesome. So afterward, I decided to go to the mall because I felt really hot and I wanted to show the world. So I put on Kim's headband I stole recently (but it's OK because she stole my swimsuit) and a sweatshirt so I would look all sporty and athletic. But the second I stepped inside I realized I probably just looked like a gross sweaty girl who doesn't care what she smells like. My ego is so sensitive sometimes, I swear.

KIM. Um...so you know how I told you I had felt like I had already promised someone else that I'd go to the Harry Potter premiere? And how I figured that if I did, then they would've forgotten about it? Well, Ashley called me up the other day and I remembered we had promised to see it together when we first saw a preview for it, and so now she's all expecting that I am for sure coming with her and I don't want to be like, "Well, I totally forgot about you and made plans with my other friends, sooo...." because I don't want to be mean. WHAT DO I DOOO!?!?!?!
ps. I hate mangoes too.
pss. You had better be taking a butt-load of pictures, girlfriend. (I've always wanted to call someone that.)
ppss. Speaking of girlfriend, some had better set me up with Luke before my hormones make me implode or something disastrous like that. I am still having the re-occuring dreams!! And the unstoppable dopey grins!! And the tingly feeling in my gut!! *sob*
pppss. Oh, and I was under the impression you would not be blogging much while in Hawaii, Kimberly. Why are you online when you could be onbeach!?! (I am just too dang funny.) (just kidding.) (Remember when I kept saying 'omg' and 'lol' at Alison's party? How embarrassing.)

So my dad went to Costa Rica today. Just like out of the blue. On the week we are moving. Awesome, daddy. I HOPE YOU ARE HAVING A DANG FUN TIME.

I finished the fifth Harry Potter book today. SOOO good. I swear, those books get better every time.

Well, I am very suddenly exhausted. Sooooo...I am going to bed I guess. At 9:00pm. And I'm not even working tomorrow!

PS--Hey. What should I buy with all this cash I'm earning this summer?

PSS--If anyone has watched Harry Potter the musical PLEASE TALK TO ME ABOUT IT. I feel so....alone.

6.24.2009

GO. NOW.

And watch Harry Potter the Musical on YouTube.
I've been literally singing the songs since Monday.

TOP FIVE
THINGS I'D LIKE TO DO RIGHT NOW:
1. cook
2. shop
3. eat a popsicle
4. run (except not really because it's like 90 degrees outside)
5. swim

But instead I am stuck in my oven-like house, unable to turn on the AC because "it's too expensive" (EVEN THOUGH IT IS 81 DEGREES FARENHEIT [it really is, I just checked] IN HERE) packing away all of my possessions. Which I am discovering I have waaaay too many of. I mean, I literally have seven FULL boxes with just books and notebooks! Where did they all come from?!? And then I keep the stupidest things like To-Do lists and old notes from 6th grade and cracked picture frames from the dollar store and a wig with a Diamondbacks hat attached to it (no idea where that came from). But come ON. Why must I be cursed with the personality trait of 'pack-rat'?!? (Boyscouts 3 Kim. Yeah I'm talking to you.)

Speaking of Kim, CALL ME! I have an important Harry Potter premiere dilemma I need to discuss with you stat. Unless you're like surfing or something cool, but if you're not CALL ME. I hope you're having fun you little booger.

ALEX. Wazzzz uppp? I'm bored. Let's have a party.

Whoever else is reading my blog: Why are you reading my blog?

6.23.2009

I just woke up.

This is the weirdest experience of my life; I have just woken up at 7:00 AM (on the dot!) completely and enthusiastically awake. For no apparent reason. This is most oviously an omen of some sort. Maybe I will have seven children.
Ug. That sounds awful.
But anywhoo, since I've magically awoken (on a day I fully intended to spend sleeping in until AT LEAST 11 thankyou very much) on this beautifully overcast summer morning, I feel obligated to, despite some extreme pain in my lower abdominals I'd rather not talk about, run.

And the funny thing is I AM DANG GOING TO.

PS. He's even hot in a turtle neck and sports coat!

Let's see Daniel Radcliffe do THAT, Alex.

6.22.2009

Alex. You do not understand.

Dear Alex Martin,
I have two things to discuss with you.
One. You cannot appreciate Harry Potter by looking at Daniel Radcliffe. GO READ THE BOOKS GOSH DANGIT.

Two. You are obivoulsy VERY misinformed on the definition of 'hot'.

hot: adj. slang
sexy; attractive

Daniel Radcliffe is NOT, in any way, hot. ESPECIALLY ESPECIALLY ESPECIALLY not in that disturbing picture where he is flaunting his gross abdominal hair. EW.
Now, if you would like to lay your eyes on someone from the Harry Potter movies who really is hot, here you go:

Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton). BAM.

MY MUSICAL PASSION HAS BEEN IGNITED!

Yes, it is true; I, Samantha, have just taught myself a song on the piano FOR FUN. It's official.
Granted, it wasn't exactly what one may consider a challenging song (Paper Planes by M.I.A.), but I am very proud of myself non-the-less, especially since I haven't played piano for over a year. YAY ME. I seemed to have forgotten how exciting it is to learn a new piece. Yippy.

Also I would like to say I have not packed ANYTHING AT ALL WHAT SO EVER and if my dad comes home for lunch he may be very tempted to shoot me as I was supposed to be cleaning and packing all day today. Siiighhh. Instead I have been singing, playing the piano, listening to music, painting and scrounging around for food (we transported most of our food to the apartment yesterday so now all we have are noodles, strawberries and milk) all in  my pajamas. I feel like it has been a productive morning though, since I haven't been vegging out in front of the TV, but no one else will view it that way when they realize I haven't packed or cleaned anything. I've been feeling very artsy fartsy lately. I want a five dollar foot long turkey sandwich from Subway right about now.

I would post a video of me playing and singing Paper Planes, but my computer (aka the only thing in my house capable of recording videos) isn't close enough to the ol' piano. Poop. (As you all shout for joy because you don't have to listen to me sing)

You know. If anyone has any extra cash to get rid of.

That's the only thing about me earning money--I'm always scared I'm going to spend it on something I'll get bored of like three days later. Aaaarrg.

Well. That's all I got for today.

6.12.2009

I AM SOOOO AWAKE. How annoying. I've been laying around on the couch all day, (well, after work that is,) you know--working on the ol' pot belly and watching the entire tenth cycle of ANTM. (Holla Alex!)(Wow. Did I seriously just say 'holla'?)(Why, yes. Yes I did.) Soooo I figure I should run twice tomorrow or something. I don't know. Maybe I'm getting a tad obsessive about this whole cross-country training thing...(wow, 'cross-country training' Sam? Really? That sounds uber dorky. It'd be better to say like 'basketball training' or something. OK--has anyone else had the extreme urge to be the only girl on an all boy's sports team and totally kick ass? Because that's like my dream in life, I swear. Um. Anyways.) but I really don't want to finish in last all the time--not that I care much, now that I think a bout it...I really just do sports because I like them. But it would be nice to be average at least sometime in my high school athletic career.

KIM.
What the crap are you doing at Alex's house when I HAVE VERY IMPORTANT SPY MISSIONS FOR YOU. Golly. Also--I would like to mention that your mother's loathing for me has been rekindled as I left three annoying messages on your machine today as well as woke her up this evening, calling your home for about the 9th time today. (Which is why I know you're at Alex's house [as in your mother told me]; I'm not a stalker I swear.)(*shifty eyes*)

There is something amazing that happens when one walks around in a t-shirt and underwear. It is somehow empowering.

I wish I could sew. I need a dress.

How shall I ambush him?!
a. (Somehow) find him at church and (somehow) separate him from his family
b. Snoop around to for his number and call him
c. Wait until I magically run into him on the street and decide to walk together and get ice cream and spend hours getting to finally truly know one another and realizing our mutual love for _________ , and spend rest of summer doing _________ with him and embracing on the first day of school, only to find we have identical schedules or something incredibly cheesy such as that
d. Don't

Uh oh gang, I seem to have jumped onto the band wagon and started using mysterious pronouns in place of names I wish not to disclose!!! GASP.

(Has anyone else noticed that when I write I sound a lot smarter/dorkier/fluent in English than when I talk? How discouraging.)

Things I am often jealous about that are embarrassing but I'm putting them on the internet because I really have nothing better to do:
1. Clothes (WHO CARES?!?! Besides, even if someone is wearing the most amazing outfit, they'll look butt-ugly if they aren't confident in it. That's all that matters, that's all that matters, that's all that matters.) (That was a mantra in case you were wondering.)
2. Hair (I'm pretty much jealous of everyone's hair. I do not know why. My hair isn't thaaaat bad, gosh.)
3. Ability to Talk (I mean like people who can just go up to someone and start a light, funny, interesting conversation. Those people are awesome.)
4. Skills (I'm not saying that I am jealous of anyone who is better than me at anything, it usually just gets to me when someone is better than me in the thing I'm best at, and I've always thought I was good at until I see that one kid who is slightly better and they ruin my dang life. I hate being competitive.)
5. Faith (I looooove it when people are so into God and so into it, you know? I so look up to those people, but, sorry God--I just have no motivation for some reason. The passion is just not there. I believe in you and all, but I don't understand the concept of having a relationship with you when you don't talk. Sorry. Don't get it. But I guess since I struggle so much with that, I envy the people who seem so strong in that, because that's what God wants, and I'm not even close. What the heck am I supposed to do? You can't just decide to be passionate about forming a relationship with God. It's not a decision. [Or is it?] I just don't have it. Arg.)

So yeah. Well now I sound like I'm jealous of everyone all the time--it's just some days when I'm feeling crappy, I'll be like 'Well if I only had her hair, my life would be great' kind of thing. Which is really annoying. JEALOUSY SUCKS. Especially because it's a sin that occurs in your thoughts rather than in your actions. Thoughts are waaay harder to control. I mean, you can physically just stop stealing your neighbor's cow or whatever that commandment is, but it's way harder to mentally block envious thoughts from your mind.
In my opinion anyway. Although I can't say I've ever stolen my neighbor's cow, so I guess my word isn't incredibly useful.

Well I guess I'm all blogged-out for today. Blogging is really actually dumb--it's like writing in a diary, except you're letting everyone read it. I don't understand. What I don't understand even more is why I'm doing it if I think the whole concept is ridiculous. Perhaps this crispy-flaky-hot-piney-rocky-Prescott air is getting to my mind.

5.08.2009

Well howdy.

Is it weird that the primary reason I blog ever is to scan my friends' blogs for my name and read about myself? I feel like that's super shallow. Or some unflattering adjective like that. (Now Kim and Alex are never going to mention me again because of that :) )

So. ho-hum. Monday is going to S-U-U-U-U-U-C-K. That is all I have to say. Two days of missed school can be a whole lot when we're this close to the end and teachers are frantically realizing they have like two weeks to squeeze in the second half of their curriculum they haven't even looked at yet as well as finals.

The ER is not a very fun place to be. And I feel like the needles were a bit unneccessary. And I seriously thought that x-ray guy was going to rape me. He should definitely strive to be less creepy. And does the hospital not supply money for heating? I mean really. I didn't even get slippers.

Graduation ceremonies are not fun either. TWO HOURS of uncomfortable heat, nausea and claustrophobia do not make a good mix at all.
RULES OF GRADUATION COMMENCEMENT CEREMONIES;
1. Do not bring children under the age of 12. Ever. Especially not babies who are capable of screaming that has a tendency to curdle blood. And especially-especially not babies who you do not feel inclined to walk out of the dang building with when they are screaming.
2. Do not blow freaking blowhorns when you are within a 30 seat or less radius of other people as you WILL cause their ear drums to rupture for evermore.
3. Do not lean backwards repeatedly as it often results in you banging your head against the person behind you's knees which could potentially irritate them beyond any kind of explanation.
4. Do not hold a graduation commencement ceremony in a building THAT DOES NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING.

I have recently realized that I am an easily offensable (I feel as though that is not a word) person.

HOly crap I wish things would stop walking by my open window because it is TOTALLY freaking me out. They're wild boars, Sami, wild boars, wild boars...wi--AHHH!!!!

4.08.2009

Blaaaaaaaaaaah.
That is how I feel right now. BORED. Bored bored bored.

So I guess we're showing the house tomorrow so I have to RE-CLEAN my room. Uuugggg. I cleaned it on sunday, it's just that my room has this tendency to rip clothes out of my closet and dressers while I'm innocently sleeping, so every morning there is a new layer of clothing evenly distributed over the entire contents of my room. It's really quite unfortunate. Especially because I have to go to sleep at like eight tonight since I have a stupid track meet tomorrow morning and we have to meet at the school at 6. In the morning. IN THE MORNING. That should be illegal for them to make us wake up so early. I mean really. At least it's a long bus ride so I'll get a little extra sleep.
...

4.05.2009

I have it under control.

This is a video of my first sign language phrase. -sniff- I'm so proud.
I wish we could do sign language instead of the other languages at school!!

I learned how to say this because my mom keeps telling me to do my homework. (Which I haven't done yet, but see above.)
Anyway. I think I'm going to finally do my weekend run so I don't have an asthma attack or something at practice tomorrow :)
Well.
This is my blog. Yup it is.
......
Why do I open a blog if I have nothing interesting to blog about?! -sigh-

OH! Ok, so Katy was over at my house yesterday and we were bored. So I'm like, "Hey. We should go outside." So we go out to my garage to find a jump rope or something when Katy
produced a peeling, dusty skateboard from underneath a menacing rusty saw (which I didn't know we owned...) So we pulled on our band t-shirts and distressed jeans and spent the day teaching our
selves how to skateboard. And I now I have a total of four gross bruises. It was actually really fun though! The reason I even own a skateboard is thanks to my 'sktr-grl' phase in sixth grade. I have embarrassingly hideous green and pink Etnies to prove it. I should actually post a picture of them.
They are SO terrible, and to think I wore them with practically everything. We were going through all my clothes recently when I found those, and mom wanted to through them away. "HECK NO!" I seem to remember saying. So now they sit lonely and (thankfully) unused in the back of my closet. But anyway, in sixth grade, I bought all these skater brand clothes (maybe I was trying to find my self ? I dunno.) So one day I just decided to learn how to skateboard so I could be as cool as my clothes. So we went to our local Wal-mart and purchased my beloved bloody-sword and rose skateboard for ten dollars. And in my opinion, it actually works pretty well for what I do with it. (Which is currently limited to moving forward and making slight turns. But I'm OK with that.)

I like how the typical elderly woman shouts "GO PUT ON A HELMET, YA HOOLIGANS!" to the local fancy skaterboarders, but when she sees a couple girls running into fences and falling down hills while trying to ride, she honks with a chuckle as she drives past.
(note; I've never actually witnessed an old lady yelling at skateboarders, but it could happen. You never know.)

Well I suppose I ought to do my homework now.
-sigh-

3.06.2009

Well. I have officially conformed  and opened up a blog. For reals.

I truthfully don't know what to say...other than I hope this works out :D
